Wild Swimming Walks Weekends

We’re excited to partner with outdoor coach Cathy Harshaw to offer incredible weekends of breathtaking Wild Swimming Walks. Join us to discover the restorative power of being out in nature, of being outside, and of paying attention to the world around you to better understand what’s within you.

These unique retreats are suitable for regular wild swimmers and dippers, or someone who’s tried it before and wants to do more in a safe and supportive environment. Non-swimming partners are welcome, there’s no pressure to swim and the walks alone are stunning!

As well as wild swimming and walking, of course you’ll also meet our fantastic animals, learn about our land regeneration projects, and enjoy delicious homemade vegan food.

Our Wild Swimming Walks Weekends are available

8-11 October 2026 (3 nights, guided 3 walks/swims) from £585 per person – see below for details

What you'll do

Five people with backpacks walk along a wooded trail, surrounded by trees and greenery.

You’ll visit a variety of wild swimming spots across the weekend. All swims are optional so you can swim or dip as much as suits you, and the relaxed and friendly environment Cathy creates means there is plenty of support but no pressure.

As well as seeing the most beautiful coastal and inland swimming spots South East Cornwall has to offer, you’ll also have the chance to meet our rescued animals and discover how we care for them, plus you’ll learn about our land regeneration projects.

Coastal Wild Swimming Walks

Rame Head Peninsular

Come with us to explore the amazing South West Coastal Path. Take in beautiful Cawsand village, Penlee Point’s views of Plymouth Sound and the Devon Coast, spectacular views out to the Eddystone Lighthouse from Rame Head, and enjoy sheltered swimming spots along the way. On all your walks you’ll stop for lunch or snacks, and there will be plenty of time to soak up the sea air and take in the incredible coastline.

Inland Wild Swimming Walks

We’ll introduce you to Bodmin Moor, one of Cornwall’s most dramatic landscapes for inland walking. You’ll explore Cornwall’s rich mining history, the amazing 360 degree views from the Cheesewring, and several Bronze age features including the Hurlers stone circles. Cathy will guide you to secluded swimming spots where you can fully enjoy the undisturbed beauty of the Moor. On all your walks you’ll stop for lunch or snacks and opportunities to absorb the exceptional clean air and enjoy watching the cows, sheep, and ponies who live on the Moor.

All about you

Two people are swimming in a rocky outdoor pond while a third person sits on a rock at the water's edge. A fourth person stands on a grassy hill in the background.

You need to have done wild swimming before but there’s no requirement to be really experienced. You can swim in whatever you like, bathers, skins, wetsuit, or anything in between!

Please note you will need to carry whatever you swim in, plus your food, drinks, and other kit; a full kit list will be supplied when you book.

There will be uneven surfaces and some uphill and downhill sections, but the walks will be at the pace of the group, with plenty of opportunities to rest, take pictures, and soak up the environment. The longest walk will be 9km.

Exact locations will depend on weather conditions and will be finalised by Cathy.
